Madeleine: Snow Sculpture Idea

I thought it might be interesting to build the sphinx on the main green...I think a lot of people are going to see our sculpture and wonder who built it and why they did--questions which are also raised by the sphinx. Also, our sculpture could be a powerful allusion to the current political instability in Egypt. I don't think it would be too ambitious to build because it doesn't have a huge amount of delicate/protruding parts and we could really build it on any scale which seemed reasonable. Also, since it's not very compact a large number of people would be able to work on it at once.
